The inorganic, organic and complex of antibacterial and antistatic agents is added to the different resin base material in traditional antimicrobial and antistatic coating, in order to achieve the effect of antibacterial and antistatic. As these fillers could slowly release or precipitate in coating base material and its antibacterial and antistatic gradually weakened with the passage of time, while precipitating heavymetals such as silver, copper, caused some pollution to the environment. Structure-antibacterial and antistatic coatings are coatings group by certain chemical reactions with antibacterial and antistatic, connected in a chemical bond antibacterial group on polymer resin base material, to polymer based antibacterial and antistatic coatings. Structure-antibacterial coating and antistatic coatings is of very great significance, as by chemical bond with antibacterial or groups connected to the base material of antistatic resin, due to the base material of resin with antibacterial or conductivity, therefore, the preparation of the antibacterial and antistatic of antibacterial and antistatic coatings become more lasting and effective.Quaternary ammonium salts of antimicrobial agents application of antistatic agent is very wide, such as benzalkonium chloride (12 alkyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride) as an efficient and extensive fungicides, antistatic agent SN, TM as antistatic agents, it widely used in antistatic coatings.There are more studies on the aggregation of quaternary ammonium salt in recent years, including the study on synthesis of quaternary ammonium salt with different structure single antibacterial, and copolymers study on antibacterial properties of polymer. Researches have shown that polymer containing quaternary ammonium salt polymers also have good antibacterial. But there is less research on the antistatic polymeride of quaternary ammonium salt .This article was synthetized an antibacterial performance of quarter ammonium salt monomer propylene ethyl dimethyl ammonium bromide (PEDAB), the compounds of white solid, its molecular type is C9H18O2NBr, molecular weight 253g/mol, melt range: 283-285℃.it was very easy absorption water, and very easy dissolved in water and ethanol, can dissolved in the heating butanol. it was not dissolved in ether, such as small polarity solvent. The results show that in 40℃, DMAEA and ethyl bromide molar ratio of 1:2, with an equal volume of acetone and ether in the mixed solvents with solvent, synthesis PEDAB yield was 68.2%. The quaternary ammonium salt was test by modern analysis and test technology, the results show that this functional monomer with good antibacterial properties through antibacterial performance testing. It was proceeded by functional monomers PEDAB,methyl methacrylate (MMA),butyl methacrylate (BMA) and butyl acrylate (BA) through free radical polymerization, and was connected the antibacterial properties group in the acrylic resin polymer chain.This good performance of polymer was got by n-buoh as solvent at 100℃, the initiator (BPO) of 1%.This procedure was obtained a range of pale yellow copolymer, with the increase of monomer polymerization function, copolymer color gradually become darker.It was contrasted by IR and DSC analysis with the structure of PEDAB and copolymer,the result show that functional monomer in the polymerization reaction.The resin, butyl acetate and packing were prepared coatings. The antibacterial and antistatic detection show the coating has a good antibacterial and antistatic performance.Antimicrobial test showed that the process of synthesized polymer the amount of PEDAB added 8%, the antibacterial rate of the polymer was got 99% for Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Aspergillus niger. Through the determination of coating surface resistivityρs, the result show coating surface resistance rate of 2.2×105Ω,as the amount of functional monomers is 6%.The surface resistivity of coating film no significant changes with the increase in amount of functional monomers.There is double bonds in molecular structure of the quaternary ammonium salt, and was copolymerized with other acrylic monomers by free radical. The antibacterial and antistatic coating wad confected with the polymer based. Test results showed that such a method of structure-antibacterial and antistatic coatings was used with good antibacterial and antistatic property. That fundamentally overcome the traditional antimicrobial and antistatic coating resulting from the problems of use antibacterial agents and antistatic agent. At the same time the preparation of the antibacterial and antistatic coating has the long-term antibacterial and antistatic effect with great scientific research and application value.
