In this paper, we use a bacteriostatic circle method which is high accuracy, easyoperation, low cost and fast detection to study the application of indicating a pesticideresidues on the biological.E. coli strains are regarded as the biological indicator bacteria in the experiment todiscuss the influence on the testing method by studying the best cultivated temperature, best age of strains, the best mix proportion, the best soaking solution, the best soakingtime and so on. At the same time we detect several kinds of fruits and vegetables’pesticide residues by this method. The above research results as follows:(1) From the short generation of three kinds of bacteria, E. coli is as the biologicalindicator bacteria.(2) We optimize the conditions of affecting the growth of E. coli through a series ofexperiments. Realize that the optimum culture temperature of E. coli is37℃; the bestculture age of e. coli is36h; the optimal mixing proportion of E. coli and LB solidmedium is1:5; the best soaking solution of bordeaux mixture pesticide is1%Tween80;the best soaking time of1%Tween80is15min.(3) Using the method we determine the three kinds of fruits and vegetables’ pesticideresidues. Apple and oilseed rape soaking solution does not appear bacteriostatic ring.cabbage soaking solution appears bacteriostatic ring. It means cabbage has pesticideresidues. After compared with national indicator of food hygiene quality, the pesticideresidue in the cabbage is lower than the national standard.
