Value Of Investment Company Listed On The Environmental Protection Industry

With the intensification of the global ecological crisis, the industrialized countries have experienced a bottleneck for economic and social development and are facing new challenges. In order to solve the current economic difficulties and futher promote economic and social development, environment industry is treated as a new way and a new driving force by many industrialized countries. Environment industry is also one of the seven strategic emerging industries in Chinese "Twelfth Five Year Plan". And China will further increase investment in environment industry in the future. Now research on the investment problems in environment industry has also become the focus.This article select environment industry listed companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen stock market, analysis the question about the investment value of listed companies in environment industry. Firstly, we analyze and summarize the results of previous studies form three parts incude the status of environment industy, the investment and financing of environment industry, the investment value of listed companies. And though the fundamental analysis of environment industry listed companies, we know that the status of environment industry is relatively good. Secondly, we use Economic Value Added (EVA) method to calculate the EVA value of the selected listed companies in environment industry. And we use the empirical analysis to examine the correlation of the EVA and the stock price, and find they are significant correlation. Thirdly, we calculate the share value of Wanhua Chemical. Compared with its really share price, we find its share price is undervalued. And then the test of practice confirmed the judgment. Finally, we summarize and analyze the result of the foregoing, and come to the conclusion that listed companies in environment industry have the investment value.
