In recent years, with the rapid economic development, industrialization and urbanization continue to promote a particularly resulting pollution of the water environment for human survival environment. Owing to human activities, large amounts of nitrogen, phosphorus and other nutrients pour into natural water bodies with increasingly serious eutrophication. In China,60percent of the lakes are in the eutrophication status. Eutrophication causes explosive growth of algae form blooms or red tide. Frequent occurrence of red tides have a serious impact on the ecological environment and sustainable development of the economy and to fishery, aquaculture, tourism and other industries caused huge economic losses, which would seriously affect water quality so far as to harm the human body. Therefore, effective prevention control the growth of harmful algae blooms, sustainable economic development and the urgent need to solve the problem, the major topic at the forefront of environmental studies in the field.Arundo donax was pyrolysised at300℃,400℃,500℃,600℃,700℃,and liquid product was obtained and it’s inhibitory activity on the growth of Microcystis aeruginosa was investigated, With the increasing concentration of pyrolysis liquid, the suppression activity was gradually increased. Liquid pyrolysis of Arundo donax at300℃show most inhibitor activity on Microcystis aeruginosa, and EC50is3.45mg·L-1.From spectrum analysis by GC-MS, we found that Arundo donax pyrolysis liquid at300℃, contains at least34comounds in which, the main component, was phenol and a small amount of ketones, acetic acids and hydrocarbons substances,2,6-dimethyl oxy phenol (commonly known as the lilac alcohol) with content of up to17.56%. In the role of Arundo donax300℃pyrolysis liquid, normal growth and reproduction of Microcystis aeruginosa was inhibited. With pyolsis liquid concentration increase, malondialdehyde (MDA) levels in algae incubation gradually rise high, and with the increasing role of time, the content of MDA also shows an upward trend. Three major antioxidant enzyme systems:peroxidase (POD), superoxide dismutase (SOD) and catalase (CAT) in Microcystis aeruginosa showed similarity with the pyrolysis Add liquid concentration increasing, but also algae Microcystis aeruginosa cells· OH, O2-and H2O2content increased sharply, reducing the appearance with the extension of time or a variation of the first rise after rising, pyrolysis liquid as external stress, so that the culture medium of Microcystis aeruginosa excessive accumulation of reactive oxygen species cause oxidative damage to cells and ultimately cell death, thus inhibiting the growth of Microcystis aeruginosa.
