With the deepening of the strategy of green printing, the requirement of ink environmentalprotection also gradually improved, UV ink to become a new type of ink which received the mostattention with its environmental protection, energy saving, high efficiency, high quality, wideadaptability, and many other advantages. Matte UV inks, is a new decorative inks by UV lightcuring, Has a large number of used packaging and printing in the field of plastic substrates. Theproperties of UV gravure frosted ink printing ink coating and finishing process of decisive role.Therefore, in order to get best printing quality and adornment effect for UV gravure is particularlyimportant to study the frosted ink..In this thesis, by the prepolymer, monomer, photoinitiator, additives and other componentsof the matte UV gravure ink system. By changing the prepolymer, monomer, photoinitiator typeand amount of additive agents, matte prepared gravure inks, test the viscosity and surface tensionof the sample, Then on PET substrate gravure proofing test samples spline ink adhesion,flexibility, abrasion resistance, curing speed. Besides, we also explore the impact of eachcomponent matte UV gravure inks performance. Recipe by gravity experiment simplex methoddesigned to determine the optimum mixing ratio of the prepolymer mixing monomers andadditives mixed to optimize the UV matte gravure ink formulations.The results showed that the type and content of the prepolymer and monomer have a greaterinfluence on the viscosity UV gravure inks matte, cure speed, adhesion, flexibility, abrasionresistance and other properties. Photoinitiator type and content of the initiator has a great effect onthe UV curing speed gravure inks frosted, the amount of the photoinitiator system can be improvedcure speed; types and contents of the additives are UV gravure inks scrub certain performanceeffects, the amount of additive can improve the performance of the ink; stable developed matte UVgravure ink performance, its performance viscosity, cure speed, adhesion, flexibility, abrasionresistance, etc. to meet the requirements of practical application can be achieved on a printingmachine.
