Nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ligand occupies an important position in thestudy of coordination compounds. Most of them have a plurality of coordination sitesand the coordination mode. The coordinated compounds of the novel structure andunique quality could be formed when the metal salt complex with these ligands. So far,it has successfully built a number of coordination compounds with specificconfigurations and special properties, further more it have a wide range of potentialapplications in the study of drug, luminescent materials, catalysts, and other aspects ofionic liquids. The paper chose the pyridine ligands from the nitrogen-containingheterocyclic ligands, and their salts formed with excessive complexes to makeapplication for studying catalytic direction, developed using the pyridine ligands withthe trifluoroacetic copper as the new system of metal complexes catalyzed Ullmann C-Ocoupling Reaction. Sodium ascorbate and PEG-400were added as additives to increasethe catalytic efficiency under the protection of nitrogen atmosphere. Throughscreening the temperature of reaction, base, solvent, additives, copper, to obtain anoptimum condition, and thus, the19target compounds have been successfullysynthesized. Secondly testing2,3-Diamino-5-bromopyridine nitrate macromolecularchelating ligand, which have been formed through the metal with salicylaldehyde and o-vanillin with a target metal complexes emitting light effect, proves that the organicmetal complexes have fluorescent properties, the fluorescent properties of cadmiumcomplexes is the most prominent in the complexes.
