In this paper,by studying the development of Ullmann coupling reaction,we have found that the expensive Pd catalyst in reactionhas been replaced withCu catalyst.The reaction rate was increased due to the using of ligands,which coordinate Cu salts contribute to improving the concentration of mental ion in the reaction.Therefore,the reaction condition was mild due to the employing of ligands.Thus,three type of compounds have been synthesized,which were used for catalyzing the coupling reaction.Because of the simple structure,convenient preparation,flexible coordination and compound stabilization,the bisphenol ligands were the best choice among all the ligands in the paper.The paper chose the bisphenol ligands and Cu salt to make application forcatalytic reaction.By screening the copper salt,ligand,temperature of reaction,solvent and base,we obtain an optimum green reaction condition.In air atmosphere,the Ullmann C-N coupling reaction was catalyzed by using the ligands with CuSO4.H2O as the new complexes in water.Under the optimum reaction condition,the 22 target diarylamine derivatives have been successfully synthesized and characterized by 1H NMR and 1C NMR,respectively.At the same time,reaction mechanism has been proved by the IR spectra of the complexes.
