In recent years, with the acceleration of the process of urbanization in China, the size of the cities are in expansion, and the increasingly severe traffic problems hinder the normal functioning of the city main function. In face of the unprecedented complex urban road network system, relying solely on the expansion of the urban road infrastructure and improvement of vehicular traffic, it is difficult to fundamentally solve the traffic problems. In this context, a growing number of national researchers focus on the study of intelligent transportation systems. In the Intelligent Transportation System, OD matrix is a very important initial data, and it is the indispensable basis data of traffic management analysis and traffic planning and traffic controlling. Traditional method access to OD matrix requires the use of large-scale artificial sample survey, while needing not only a lot of manpower and material resources, and the long data update cycle, which can not fully meet the needs of dynamic OD matrix in intelligent transportation systems. Mobile wireless location technology does not depend on GPS positioning, which can provide the city Massive residents’travel information of any regional all the time, without the need for additional equipment installation and maintenance costs. Therefore, this paper focuses on the use of new techniques and methods for urban traffic OD matrix, and dynamic OD matrix acquisition method based on the area of mobile phone positioning data is studied.In this paper, the background of the thesis, the progress of the research and related theoretical knowledge of the basic ideas and methods of the study are reviewed. Based on mobile phone traffic data, the data structure design and data preprocessing is applied. On the base of introducing the traditional traffic zone classification method and the purpose of travel, a similarity of time series classification algorithm based on the piecewise linear representation based on turning point (CP-PLR) is developed; Base station cell is mapped to different traffic district of different characteristics, and the city traffic zone is divided based on mobile phone traffic data. Finally, through the introduction of the storage structure and contrast, we select the adjacency matrix as the OD Matrix Storage physical data structure; The principle of dynamic OD matrix area of mobile location-based data acquisition is expounded, and we design and verify the mobile location-based data dynamic OD matrix acquisition algorithm and further analyze of the characteristics of the geographical spatial distribution of the dynamic OD matrix.In this study, the mobile location technology is used as an effective tool of data acquisition for intelligent transportation systems, and the study provides new ideas and methods for the acquisition of dynamic OD matrix of the urban area, which has a clear technological advantage over the traditional OD survey methodology and has broad application prospects.
