Rocket lifting is an important part of the space launchAs the launch vehicle has the non-standardized design (oversized, overweight, etc.) which is different from a general cago, so it put forward stringent requirements for command and operating procedures and the skills and qualities of operator. Traditional training and assessing for lifting procedures has obvious shortcomings, like time and money costs, prone to accidents. Therefore, the development of safe and efficient cooperative lifting simulation training systems and training of qualified, skilled operators has become an urgent need.Aiming at the actual demand of very large rocket container cooperative lifting, the paper proposed a cooperative lifting training system with a high degree of simulation results based on virtual reality technology. The paper’s main content includes:1. For the analog of crane rope, a multi-body dynamic model of wire rope was proposed based on the open source physics engine ODE (Open Dynamic Engine).2. With the analysis of process and characteristics in collaborative lifting, a dynamic model was researched and established.3. Aiming at the problems of visual synchronization in each simulation computer during the period of lifting training, an effective view synchronization method was proposed.4. For information collecting, processing and transforing between hardware devices, a communication mechanism was researched and designed to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of the information transfer between the devices. The experimental results and practical applications showed that the system could realistically simulate the entire process of collaborative lifting for large rocket container, and meet the needs of daily lifting training, reduce training costs and enhance the training effect.
