The working principle of balance gun is in a long gun tube is filled with the inner diameter of the projectile and the balance between the body, a gun tube is filled with propellant, gas generating propellant ignited propels the projectile and the balance of body in the opposite direction. Balance gun traditional use is the powder gases emitted backward or solid weight body quality, according to the water balance of balance gun firing technology of the theoretical research, the main research contents are as follows:1.Establish a classical interior ballistics model, through numerical calculation, analysis of gun bore pressure balance distribution characteristics and the establishment of balance gun interior ballistic equations.2.Based on theory of computational fluid dynamics, a two-dimensional model of balance gun, mesh is divided into blocks, using a structured grid, is conducive to the numerical simulation.3.Based on the balanced gun two-dimensional model, collaborative simulation platform based on Matlab/Fluent construction, numerical analysis of flow field in the process of balance gun.4.The flow field analysis, reveals the equilibrium structure and characteristics of turbulent flow in the tube, optimization and to balance the gun structure size. To provide some useful reference for the design of balance gun.The paper research the theory of balance gun with water as the balance of body, the dynamic mesh technique, and based on the co simulation of balance gun firing process by numerical analysis Matlab/Fluent, this is the first time in china. Research on China’s further development of balance gun, and has important theoretical significance and practical value.
