This article takes a launcher bottom frame as the research object, the structural optimization method as a guide, and uses optimization analysis software to realize the optimization design on the bottom frame structure. This paper mainly uses two kinds of optimization methods, the topology optimization and size optimization, finally realized the whole design of the frame.A mathematical model structure optimization is established in the optimization theory, which analyzed the homogenization method and variable density method, that often used in topology optimization; and discussed the function of sensitivity analysis in the dimension optimization design. This paper introduced the finite element method, and the grid technology, node coupling, related technology of connecting between solid element and shell element in the frame optimization. In topology optimization, due to various conditions of stress and the maximum deformation was at a low level, the conditions are weighted processing, so the result of topology optimization is the four conditions of the integration. Then the new bottom frame was conducted size optimization analysis, through the selection and optimization of design variables, respectively analyzes the chassis’s situation of the stress and strain before and after the size optimization, in the four conditions. And designed the reasonable optimization objective function and constraint conditions, the quality of chassis got the further reduced, on the basis of meeting basic performance, and the aim of optimization design is achieved.
