For the engineering problem of differential settlement of foundation and negative friction force around pile due to consolidation of under-consolidated soil under self-weight, the consolidation process of under-consolidated soil under self-weight with different density and coefficient of permeability was analyzed by simulated with Adina. The contents of this paper is (1) Effect of density and coefficient of permeability of under-consolidated soil on dissipation of pore water pressure of soil during consolidation process,(2) Effect of density and coefficient of permeability of under-consolidated soil on increasing of soil pressure of soil during consolidation process,(3) Effect of density and coefficient of permeability of under-consolidated soil on consolidation settlement of soil during consolidation process.By analyzing the data, the following conclusion were reduced,(1)The law of dissipation of pore water pressure of soil in consolidation process under self-weightIn consolidation process of soil under self-weight, initial excess pore water pressure increases with increasing of density of soil. The relationship between excess pore water pressure and density of soil is liner. Dissipation velocity of excess pore water pressure increases with increasing of coefficient of permeability. Law of dissipation of pore water pressure includes:slowly increasing dissipation, quick dissipation and decreasing slow dissipation. An experiment formulation (3-2) for the law of dissipation of pore water pressure of soil was educed by fitting data.(2)The law of increasing of soil pressure of soil in consolidation process under self-weightIn consolidation process of soil under self-weight, soil pressure increases with increasing of density of soil. The relationship between soil pressure and density of soil is liner. Increasing velocity of soil pressure increases with increasing of coefficient of permeability. Law of soil pressure includes:slowly increasing, quick increase and decreasing slow increase. An experiment formulation (4-3) for the law of increasing of soil pressure of soil was educed by fitting data.(3) Development law of consolidation settlement of soil in consolidation process under self-weight In consolidation process of soil under self-weight, consolidation settlement increases with increasing of density of soil. The relationship between consolidation settlement and density of soil is liner. Increasing velocity of consolidation settlement increases with increasing of coefficient of permeability. Law of consolidation settlement includes:slowly increasing settle, quick settle and decreasing slow settle. An experiment formulation (5-3) for the development law of consolidation settlement of soil was educed by fitting data.
