With the development of social economy and construction, the skip steerloader is used for more and more applications because of its multifunctionalityand super mobility and flexibility. In this several types of skip steer loadersdivided by stepped mechanism or steering mode, wheeled skip steer loader is themost famous one.In either operating conditions, wheeled skip steer loader have to drive onstraight line or steering travel. During the straight driving, the whole force onthe complete machine is simple; when the vehicle is being turning drive, thewhole force on the complete machine is complicated, the serious slide willhappen between the tire and the ground, in the meantime, it will need morepower of the engine.The analysis of the process of turning drive is indispensable for thecalculation of force on the wheeled skip steer loader and deciding the parameterof the structure. In this paper, the analysis of the process of stable turning driveis primary. According to the difference of operating conditions, the movementcan be divided by regularity speed turning on the flat or slope. During theanalysis of turning on the level of the ground, First of all, the kinematicalanalysis of the vehicle and are the plane between tire and ground carried out onthe horizontal flat; on the base of kinematics, according to the condition of stress,Dynamics analysis is carried out for whole vehicle, deducing out the expressionof every tire’s longitudinal force and lateral force and whole vehicle’sdriving-steering moment and steering resisting moment, at the same time, theimperative condition of steering and mathematical model of steady steer ofwhole vehicle will be got; Considering the property of adhesion of ground,putting forward sufficient condition of steering; analyzing the loss of powerwhen turning steer. During the course of vehicle steering on slope, kinematicalanalysis of the vehicle is same to the condition of the level of ground, thecalculative formula of the force or torque acting on all the tires can consult therelevant formula of steering on horizontal ground, mathematical model of steady steer of the vehicle’s uphill and downhill on longitudinal slope or the lateralslope are established. Three-dimensional model of wheeled skip steer loader hasbeen built up, and applying the software of many-body dynamics-ADAMS tosimulate and analyze, the corresponding results are got, validating that thetheoretical model is correct.Simplifying the plane between tire and ground into rectangle, according tophysical work condition, and considering the slip of the tire, by those, theprecision of theory of model was improved. Hope to provide reference andfoundation for the design of wheeled skip steer loader on some level.
