There is one problem that has plagued the world for a long time. It’s the increasingly serious energy crisis and environmental issues. As one way to solve this problem, the distributed power technology has been developed extensively and rapidly. However, something is wrong with the large grid integration of distributed power, the micro-grid is born in order to solve this problem. Micro-grid will bring a wide range of interests for its users, its economic benefit is the key to attracting users. It will be welcomed in the power system to promote if it has obvious economic advantages. Thus, the economy micro-grid Studies have great practical significance, but it is also a difficulty in the study. Currently, it focused on the economic dispatch about micro-grid economic performance research.In this paper, it showed an overview of the micro-grid economic dispatch status, the micro-grid economy operation pattern and its economic strategy under various operating modes. In addition, it studied the micro-grid economic load dispatch problem with heat and power. The paper, a model of economic operated CHP micro-grid system which consists of micro-power, energy storage, heating and electric loads is established. The model is solved by an improved particle swarm optimization algorithm. The objective function is minimal the micro-grid system cost under the constraints of the system. The simulation results show that the algorithm can effectively reduce the overall cost of micro-grid system and provide a theoretical basis for the practical application of engineering.The Micro-grid systems which contains some uncontrollable units like wind power, photovoltaic power generation, the reliability problems are more prominent because of these units’random. We build a mathematical model with a variety of distributed power which includes the economic load dispatch reliability, and takes into account the multiple targets such as micro-grid operating costs, environmental cost and reliability costs. It minimal make the target cost integrated micro-grid system by quantum particle swarm algorithm. It proved the model is reasonable and the algorithm is valid by a numerical simulation example.
