Micro-grid has become an important auxiliary tool to solve problems of power systems,which enables the Distributed Generation to coordinate power by a more flexible way.In this paper, a new bi-directional convert controller was proposed aiming at the shortage of thecharge and discharge controller used in micro-grid. This design has integrated two power loopinto one using a bi-directional topology, which has the advantages of high efficiency, smallvolume, good dynamic performance, and low cost etc. At the same time, this two work modescould be switched more rapidly. This paper carried out the following aspects of the work:1) Studied the structure and advantages of Micro-grid.2) Selected the non-isolated Buck/Boost structure as the main topology structure ofbidirectional dc converter by comparing.3) Through research and comparing, we choose the voltage type structure of single phasefull bridge PWM rectifier as the two-way communication in this article of the main topologystructure of the converter.4) Design the hardware circuit of the main power module,and the control and detectioncircuits, draw circuit diagram using Altium Designer, make PCB, welding and inspection.5) Design the software of the bi-directional converter which include the procedures of DSPinitialization, AD sampling, PWM, PI control and digital filtering etc.6) The debugging work of bi-directional converter has been made. The controlling ofovervoltage and under voltage in operation were also completed.
