Background:loose surface structure of room temperature curing MMA porous, easy to be attached to a variety of bacteria, microbes, leading to the occurrence of denture stomatitis.Objective:To compare the nanometer silver antibacterial agent and the four acicular zinc oxide antibacterial agent used in room temperature curing PMMA antibacterial activity against Candida albicans.Method:Determination of carrying silver antibacterial powder and four acicular zinc oxide antibacterial agents against Candida albicans nanometer zirconium phosphate by dilution method (ATCC90028) and minimum bactericidal concentration (MBC).Results and conclusion:the minimum bactericidal concentration of nanometer silver antibacterial agent (MBC) was40g/L. The four acicular zinc oxide (T-ZnOw) and minimal bactericidal concentration of Candida albicans25g/L. With the increase of the addition of nanometer silver antibacterial agent or four acicular zinc oxide antibacterial agent mass fraction, the antibacterial properties of room temperature curing MMA increased gradually, and the four acicular zinc oxide antibacterial antibacterial was better in the nanometer silver loaded zirconium phosphate antibacterial agent. Indicates that the nano silver antibacterial agent and the four acicular zinc oxide antibacterial effect on Candida albicans., and the four acicular zinc oxide antibacterial agent than meters silver antibacterial agent has good antibacterial effect.
