| Purpose：To evaluate the efficacy and safety of therapy of replenishing qi,activating blood and promoting urination on treating chronic heart failure byusing meta-analysis.Methods：Cochrane systematic review method was used. The inclusion and theexclusion criteria were established based on searching literaturesinTsinghua(1989-2009),VIP(1989-2O09),CBMdisc(1978-20O6),CNKI(1979-2O08) andother electronic databases. Then the quality of the included studies wasevaluated and meta-analysis was performed on homogeneous researches.Results：Thirteenstudieswereincludedinmeta-analysis.Atotalof1085casesof patients with chronic heart failure were included. They were divided intoherba1(therapy of replenishing qi,activating blood and promoting urination)plusconventional therapy group(544cases) and conventional therapy group(541cases).Meta analysis showed that additional therapy of replenishingqi,activating blood and promoting urination can significantly improve overallefficiency compared with conventional therapy(OR=3.77，95%CI=2.31～6.16)；Treatment group6min walk test and left ventricular ejection fraction increasedsignificantly, difference have statistical significance(6min walk test：SMD=0.37，95%CI=0.05～0.68；left ventricular ejection fraction：SMD=0.47，95%CI=0.32～0.61)；Treatment group TCM syndrome integral, the quality of lifescore,and ET in plasma and the NT-proBNP, BNP level significantly decreased,difference have statistical significance（TCM syndrome integral：SMD=-0.55，95%CI=-0.74～-0.36；the quality of life score：MD=-2.42，95%CI=-3.95～-0.88；the plasma ET levels：SMD=-0.72，95%CI=-1.02～-0.41；the plasma NT-proBNP levels：MD=-56.48，95%CI=-61.01～-51.96；the plasma BNP levels：SMD=-0.83，95%CI=-1.05～-0.62）.Conclusion：The current clinical evidence of efficacy, combined with therapyof replenishing qi,activating blood and promoting urination in chronic heart failure on the basis of conventional drug is exact and reliable, and does nothave any serious adverse reactions. |
