| Objective: Observed Zuoguiwan flavored type of kidney essence deficiencyin patients with senile dementia clinical efficacy and safety of the druganalysis.Methods: Western diagnostic criteria and Chinese Medicine of the standard,select from January2010to December2012, Liaoning Provincial Hospital ofNeurology and dry clinic visited hospitalized patients with senile dementia of56patients were randomly divided into treatment group (30cases)with the controlgroup (n=26), the treatment group given two weeks Zuo Gui pill decoction50mltwice a day orally,3weeks to24weeks to Zuoguiwan flavored pills3g twicea day oral treatment; control group were treated with donepezilhydrochloridetablets (Eisai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.)5mg once a day orally for24weeks; easy-mental state examination (MMSE), ADL (ADL), Chinese medicineclinical symptom score scale evaluation of patientscognitive function,activities of daily living and the severity of dementia. MMSE, ADL, Chinesemedicine clinical symptom score assessment and safety assessment of patientsbefore treatment and after treatment, respectively.Result: Treatment group of MMSE score was46.67%, effective rate was40.00%in the ADL scale score, score after treatment than before treatment improved the treatment group score higher than that of the control group, but the treatment group and the control group integralsno statistically significant difference (p>0.05); the TCM clinical symptom score effective rate was53.33%, significantly higher than the control group, a statistically significant difference (p <0.05). No adverse effects were found in the course oftreatment, after treatment, none of the patients with various physical andchemical testing have abnormal.Conclusion: Zuoguiwan flavored treatment of kidney essence deficiency of senile dementia in improving the clinical symptoms of patients a significant effect, and better security. |
