Fu Yang By Water Square Topical Shenque Clinical Study Of The Treatment Of Malignant Peritoneal Effusion

Malignant peritoneal cavity effusion is one of common complications of the late tumor patients. It has the characteristics of rapid growth, refractory healing and patients suffer from. Modern medical treatments including support therapy, diuresis, puncture drainage in abdominal cavity, the cavity drug perfusion, immunotherapy.anti-angiogenesis, etc. Various ways of overall treatment curative effect is limited, however, also exist corresponding defects, and not effectively consolidate curative effect, easy to relapse, even form a vicious circle, direct impact on patient survival. Malignant peritoneal cavity effusion can be attributed to "tympanites" category of traditional Chinese medicine. Pathogenesis involving multiple viscera, the nature of disease is intermingled deficiency and excess, and pathogenesis of liver, spleen, kidney and other viscera function is impaired, qi, blood, water for each disease, delay time, lingering painless. The syndrome of insufficiency of both the spleen and the kidney asdthenic splenonephro-yang is most commom in clinic, is also the most difficult to treat. Traditional Chinese medicine treatment of malignant peritoneal cavity effusion has accumulated rich experience, especially the Chinese medicine external treatment. This method is simple in operation and low cost, easily accepted by patients and the advantages of the promotion, and drug absorbed by skin easily, work faster. In addition, the advantages of Chinese medicine external treatment in terms of security are increasingly highlighted. On the premise of western medicine curative effect is not clear, using "fu yang zhu shui fang"can yet be regarded as a kind of actively trying, through this alysis to provide data and theoretical guide to clinical practice.Research purpose:Review on the efficacy and safety of "fu yang zhu shui fang". To pioneer new mentality and field for the treatment of malignant peritoneal cavity effusion. In addition,we will want to summarize the accumulation of traditional Chinese medicine external treatment experience, reveal the characteristics and advantages of "fu yang zhu shui fang".better service for the clinical.Research methods:Using prospective and single center experimental design, we establish the sample diagnostic criteria,include into criteria,eliminate criteria and terminate clinical criteria. We analyzed the status of the Third Affiliated Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine Oncology hospitalized patients with malignant perit-oneal cavity effusion from June2013to March2014,we selected30eligible patients, all using our department experience prescriptions "fu yang zhu shui fang" after two weeks. Take Shenque point to paste the central point of the adhesive point washed and dry,and make the drug power into a paste with warm water and mix thoroughly,placed25x31cm dressing central area,gauze expand coverage,medicines range from about8x10cm,drugs thickness about2mm,around the tape securely gauze affixed to the abdomen, every4-6hours to remove the dressings and drugs. At the same time record the change of the peritoneal cavity effusion, abdomen circumference and24hour urine volume change, the quality of KPS scores and improve of the TCM syndromes and adverse reactions occur,etc.Research results:The results showed that30patients after treatment the total effective rate was86.67%in remission of peritoneal cavity effusion. Ultrasound showed effusion fluid biggest flat reduces by an average1.31±0.95cm in diameter after the treatment, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); Abdomen circumference reduces by an an average of3.23+2.42cm,24hour urine volume increased by251.33±190.08cm, KPS scores increased by3±4.66scores、SLEFI reduces by4.43±2.10scores by average, they were all significant difference(P<0.05). Security,pretherapy and post-treatment,there were no obvious abnormal in blood routine examination, liver and kidney function. ECG did not see obvious change; Some of patients in the study appeared skin itching skin rash, local skin redness,but all disappeared after treatment is stopped. From what has been discussed above,"fu yang zhu shui fang "shows its distinctly safty and effectiveness in topical treatment of malignant peritoneal cavity effusion.Research conclusion:Application Shenque point with "fu yang zhu shui fang"is a effective mean to control spleen-kidney yang deficiency malignant peritoneal cavity effusion. The therapeutic effect obviously improved, abdomen circumference reduced and24hour urine volume increased by a large margin. It also Play an important role in aspect of alleviating TCM clinical symptoms and improve the quality of life. The treatment of application point with "fu yang zhu shui fang"is simple, conveninent and Has better operability,safty and reliability,which is worth to extend.
