The genus Macleaya (Papaveraceae) are perennial tall erect herbs including Macleaya cordata(Willd)R.Br. and Macleaya microcarpa (Maxim.)Fedde, mainly distributed in some provinces of Yangtze river in china,Japan and the region of Southeast Asian. This traditional Chinese medicine have effects of antibacterial, insecticidal, resisting hepatic fibrosis, antitumor, growth promotion. The main chemical components of Macleaya are alkaloids. The crude trace alkaloids was acquired by use method of one grade separation including various solvent distribution and large gel column to remove the high content alkaloids of sanguinarine, chelerythrine, protopine and allocryopine from crude alkaloids of Macleaya cordata. A method of two grade separation was used to get20parts from crude. We choose F7, F8, F10, F11, F13, G (F8-17), G (F10-5), G(F10-10), G(F11-2), G(F11-5), G(F11-6) for the three grade separation and totally obtain14monomer compounds. The structure of these5compounds were identified by spectroscopy methods(MS,1H-NMR,13C-NMR, DEPT,2D-NMR) combined with physical and chemical evidence. The results as follows:6-hydroxyl-7,8-demethylene dihydrochelerythrine(compound1), Allocryptopine (compound2), Chelerythrine (compound3),1,4-dinethyl-6,7-methylenedioxy-1,2,3,4-tetrahydrobenzoquinoline (compound4),8-demethyl chelerythrine(compound5). Compound1and Compound4were new chemical compounds.
