Vertigo Treatment Rule And The Use Of Modern Research Zhongjing Phlegm

Vertigo is one of the clinical common diseases. The patients often feel dizzy and have blurred visions. There are many useful contents about vertigo syndrome in the book "Treatise on Febrile Diseases" written by Zhang zhongjing. In this book, Zhang explained the theory of "vertigo caused by phlegm retention" for the first time, which established the fundamental rules of differentiation and treatment on vertigo. Modern doctors prefer to develop the treatments on the basis to vain a good clinical efficacy. This study aims to systematically summarize Zhang’s rules in the differentiation and treatment of phlegm retention vertigo, and analyze the doctors applying the idea of the syndrome differentiation treatment of phlegm retention dizziness of the status quo, and thus to provide reference for clinical syndrome differentiation of phlegm retention vertigo, which will has an important significance of clinical practice.The thesis is divided into three parts. In the first part, by combing the process of ancient Chinese medicine for vertigo, the understanding of the etiology and pathogenesis and the syndrome differentiation treatment methods, we will understand that the theory of "vertigo caused by phlegm retention" theory had made an important role in the history of the development of syndrome differentiation of vertigo. By31provisions related to vertigo and14formulas treated vertigo in "Treatise on Febrile Diseases", we summarized his understanding of syndrome differentiation of vertigo, and thus found out that the syndrome differentiation of phlegm retention vertigo was in the important position in the whole syndrome differentiation of vertigo.In the second part of this thesis, Zhang’s rule in the differentiation and treatment of phlegm retention vertigo were analyzed from the etiology and pathogenesis, therapeutic treatment and the formulas. The rules include:The characteristics of the pathogenesis; Phlegm retention cause diseases with cold or heat; The upper abdomen spleen and stomach have great importance to treatment; According to the triggers treating phlegm retention vertigo, etc.In the third part of this thesis, the literature database of treatments on syndrome differentiation of phlegm retention vertigo has been established with statistical methods. Based on the data, the phlegm retention vertigo has been analyzed by the diagnosis, differentiation types, syndromes, and formulas. In the treatment of phlegm retention of vertigo, four formulas have been analyzed. There are Linggui Zhugan Decoction, Zexie Decoction, Zhenwu Decoction and Wulingsan. Finally, there are a lot of treating experiences of phlegm retention vertigo summarized by modern physicians, in order to provide the reference for the practice of clinical syndrome differentiation of vertigo.Zhang put forward the theory of "vertigo caused by phlegm retention" in the book "Treatise on Febrile Diseases" and analyzed its etiology and pathogenesis, therapeutic treatments and the formulas. The abundant contents in the book provide the new ideas and methods of vertigo treatment for later generations. Modern physicians make the rules more appropriated with the characteristics of phlegm retention of vertigo in modern clinical practice.
