The author has done a lot of work on the outclass learning for the Chinese learners who are overseas students in China. It has been discovered that the problems of less studying time, entertainment overweighing study, unfitting materials and less effect of Chinese knowledge are prevailing in their reading, speaking, as well as viewing and listening. The author regards as it that it is not enough to simply initiate the decisive role of students’internal talent and external language environment in Chinese learning, but necessary to put them in combination. In order to better the over students’outclass learning effect, the author has proposed the means of "classroom learning+outclass learning", which not only avoids the stereotype of taking classroom learning seriously to despise outclass learning, but the harmful tendency of overweighting the latter. What’s more, measures such as construction of outclass learning resources repository, integration of classroom teaching and outclass studying, improvement on Chinese teachers’teaching sense and optimization of materials are also parts of the author’s opinions on the matter.Based on the teaching methodology of "natural teaching", the thesis analyses the importance of outclass learning. The rich information resources outclass are helpful for the students’input of comprehensible knowledge in Chinese. Also the natural language environment will reduce the overseas students’affective filter barriers. It is good for them to pick up Chinese naturally. Outclass study is essential for the overseas students. The survey made by means of questionnaires will help us the know their learning effects after class; and the information collected will also be beneficial for us to find out the problems existed. By deep analysis on the problems and the causes of them, the practicable measures will be taken out accordingly to solve them. Then students’studying efficiency will be improved and the aim of communicating in Chinese freely will be achieved.
