Affective evaluative learning refers to transfer of affective value from affect-ladenstimuli to a neutral one, due to the fact that the neutral one has been paired withpositive or negative stimuli. The transformations of valence are realized by a specifictype of human affective conditioning, which is called evaluative conditioning (EC).Affective evaluative learning may be one of the mechanisms of emotion acquisition. This research simulated the process of the formation of the vocal affectiveevaluative learning, and tested the effect of the vocal affective evaluative learning byaffective priming paradigm. Experiment1was carried out in laboratory, first60subjects formatted vocal affective evaluative learning by listening to positive/negativewords reading by neutral voice, then tested the effect of vocal affective evaluativelearning through affective priming paradigm. Experiment2investigated the differencesof evaluation on three valences materials which selected from positive/negativepop-star, we certified the consequence of affective evaluative learning in real life. Themain conclusions are as follows:(1) Vocal affective evaluative learning can establish by evaluative conditioning.(2) The emotion valence can affect the consequence of vocal affective evaluativelearning: there is emotion priming effect in positive condition, while there is reversepriming effect in negative condition.(3) The three valences materials of positive pop-star are evaluated more positivethan negative pop-star, at the same time, the evaluation on positive pop-star’s neutralmaterial are also positive than negative pop-star’s.(4)The evaluation on negative pop-star’s three different valences materials aremore negative than those evaluation on positive pop-star’s.
