On The "struggle" Creative Insights

《Struggle》 is composed by two painting works, the silence and Shouting. Silence and Shouting are two extreme attitudes to treat with ordinary life and things:Silence meaning suffer daily chores, the attitude is tolerance to face things.I have thought to depict a pair of gentle, anger and unruly eyes, but, I found that the performance of painting eyes are too tactful, too poetic flavour, for what I want to, resonance and shock is not consistent with resonance and shock, so I finally chose to show people mouth.Color often brought us a lot of expectation and many wrong associations. The excessive color often make people can’t right to convey to our image of the most direct experience, so the two paintings using the most directly and the fundamental expression ways "black and white " to express "struggle" this one theme.
