The Color Expansion And Creation Of Contemporary Ink Figure Paintings

In the history of the development of Chinese fine art,"wash painting" and "painting" as two crucial elements of the traditional Chinese paintings have been serving essential roles.Because of the development of the literati painting from the Tang and Song Dynasties,the heavy-color painting has been substantially undervalued.Thus,the research of the theory and practice of the heavy-color painting has been lasting in a shallow study area.Thereinto,the literati painting,which seeks for possessing natural grace and conciseness,enormously has made the color application of Chinese painting into a stagnant circumstance.Meanwhile,the standpoint and culture that contradict with colour performance has repressed the application and enlargement of colour in ancient Chinese painting.However,on contemporary,with the rapid development of society and economy,a range of culture and art industry is in bloom of a golden era with the strong support from national policy.Thus,it is notable that the original professional aesthetic standards of Chinese painting have been changed to satisfy the aesthetic needs of the general public.It also proves that the literati painting focusing on the simplicity and conciseness is unable to meet the needs of society based on its own aesthetic unicity.Hence,the heavy-color painting,which has been almost abandoned by the mainstream for a long time,needs to expand its own living space with the movement of era.This paper first briefly introduces the color development and application in contemporary figure brush painting.With the adoption of color style,it will cite the examples to analyze the formation and reasons of the development of the contemporary ink painting's color and style.Thereinto,that painting is influenced by the following: the traditional mainstream of Chinese style,Chinese folk painting and the impact of Western painting.Then,combined with the creation about the color application in figure brush painting,this paper will discuss the color development by analyzing the related legends.Meanwhile,it will be specifically based on three aspects.Firstly,the origin of creation,which refers to the purpose and significance of the topic,will be shown clearly.Secondly,the process of creation,including the problems and the way to solve the problems in the process of creation,will be thought about deeply depending on the analysis of the picture.The third is that the creation of harvest will be summed up.Finally,this paper will draw a conclusion: color in contemporary ink painting,which has a vast space for development,will be more likely to create more colorful exquisite art works in the unremitting efforts.
