Studies Lyrics Rhetoric "Mountain Flowers" In Ningxia Hui Liupan Mountain

This thesis studies on rhetoric features and linguistic styles of’wild Hua’er’song lyrics, Ningxia Liupanshan Hui nationality areas’wild Hua’er’folk song lyrics as research object, using investigation of field and method of text analysis, in542’wild Hua’er’songs.It introduces the geographical landscape, cultural history, religion and origin of the name ’wild Hua’er’, its development and propagating in the beginning of the thesis. It divides’wild Hua’er’into love’’Hua’er’’and era’Hua’er’542’wild Hua’er’ from contents of542’wild Hua’er’ songs collected. I find that’wild Hua’er’ is special in voice, words, sentences, rhetoric and language style. The thesis studies and elaborates on the rhetoric of Ningxia’wild Hua’er song lyrics in5parts.Voice rhetoric of’wild Hua’er’reflects in3parts, rhythm, rhyme and lining of word. The end of sentences alternate in single and double beats. They separate from the body of the sentence. Sentences’beats are usually two or three beats, sometimes two and three beats alternately. There are6styles of rhythm.’Wild Hua’er’ has the features of expletive rhythm of function words and double rhythm. The positions of lining of words are used in’wild Hua’er’frequently. Ling of words can be in the middle of or at the end of sentences. They obey three laws:1. If the number of words of sentences is less than7, add lining of words into sentences.2. Add ling of words into sentences for highlighting two or three words ending.3. If the rhythms isn’t symmetric, add lining of words into sentences.’Wild Hua’er’ words’rhetoric is using dialect words frequently. It shows dialect words could display local characteristic and national feature by clearing up and concluding different characteristic dialect words.This allegation analyses the sentences rhetoric of’wild Hua’er’ using rhetorical question, question answer and subject elliptical sentences as examples, particularly in using situation of ’Ba’ word sentences. There are three states in ’Ba’ word sentences of Ningxia’wild Hua’er’1.’Ba’ word sentences leading to object2.’Ba’ word sentences put in front of subject3.’Ba’ word sentences omitting. These sentences styles play role of deepening affection, emphasizing key points and emphasizing tone, and also make’wild Hua’er’ more native soil. Then this thesis analyses six rhetorical methods-metaphor, metonymy, allusion, mimic, exaggeration and synesthesia-in’wild Hua’er song lyrics. Applying traditional rhetorical techniques is flexible, diversified, vivid and interesting. They display’wild Hua’er singers’ linguistic intelligent.At the end of the thesis, it analyses the Ningxia’wild Hua’er’s linguistic styles of rough and simple from the feature which displays in voice, words, sentences and rhetoric. I find these linguistic styles associates with local geographic, national and religious culture.
