"I / You Perceive Judge Righteous + V" Discourse Markers

Since the1980’s, the grammar scholars began to focus on the study of discoursemarkers used in the verbal communication, which is being used increasely in Chinese,plays an increasingly important role in the dialogue. The category of discoursemarker is very numerous, including modal particles, demonstrative pronouns, andeven including some of the phrases. We found the construction “I/you+perceivedverbs” often be used as a discourse marker in the verbal communication, whichworth more comprehensive and detailed research and analysis.This thesis intends to combine descriptive method of structuralism andinterpretation of functionalism, adheres to the principle of "the combination of formand meaning, the combination of description and interpretation, the combination ofstatic and dynamic, and the combination of quantitative analysis and qualitativeanalysis". It uses the theory of subjectivity and subjectification, structural formula incognitive theory and cooperative principles and so on, which all used to explain andanalyze the features of construction "I/you+V" as a discourse marker as well as theformation of reasons.This paper is divided into two parts.The first part is the review part, which is divided into two sections, the firstsection is the summary of previous research on discourse marker, and the outline oftheoretical research related discourse marker. The second one is to put forward myown views and opinions based on the research results of the discourse markers andits associated problems by forerunners, by the way of roughly grasp the content anddirection of the previous studies.The second part is the research part, including five chapters.Chapter I is the research of the construction "I/you feel". The whole chapter isdivided into four sections. From the perspective of decategorization, It analyzes thelinear distribution and semantic generalization, etc., summarizes up the function oftext interaction, and also analyzes the process of conformation of discourse marksfrom a diachronic perspective. The fourth section is the comparison of discourse marker between Chinese and French from the perspective of the cross-languageanalysis.ChapterⅡis the research of the construction "I/you know". Full chapter isdivided into five sections. From the view angle of decategorization, making researchof the distribution characteristics, the semantic generalization, convergence functionin the text, interpersonal function carried out a detailed exposition and analysis etc.From the perspective of comparison between Chinese and French, we makecomparative analysis of the different characteristics in verbal communication indifferent languages.Chapter III is the research of the construction "I/you know". The wholechapter is divided into three. Analyzing its linear distribution, the conditions ofconstitution of discourse marker, and the organizational functions. Drawing thedifferences with a similar structure in the French at the same time.ChapterⅣis the part which research and summary on the commoncharacteristic of "I/you+perspective V", followed by the summary of theunresolved issues in the text as well as unsettled problems.ChapterⅤis the conclusion part.
