Discourse markers are expressions of a natural language, the domestic andforeign research quite a lot in recent years, they are mainly about words, phrases orclauses, enhanced the interaction of the speaker and the reader to understand themeaning of the program,having a strong coherence.The discourse marker “jiu shi le”is independent in syntax, often appears at the end of the sentence to complete aconversation, expressing a kind of mood, we can call it“end marker”or“moodmarker”. With the help of the stress, pause or context, we can distinguish its soundquality of the rhythm is of independence.The three planes theory widens the field of the study of gramma, but alsopromotes the study of Chinese grammar.“jiu shi le” is one of the common discoursemarkers in written and spoken language, which is characterized by the forms of shortand pithy, the simple semantic meanings and the rich of pragmatic meanings. Anysentence with the meanings of the syntactic plan and the semantic plan, there are alsothe meanings of the pragmatic plan. The marked effect of discourse marker “jiu shile” is determined by the discourse of the positions as well as its own languagefeatures.The discourse marker “jiu shi le” is a special form of language, which playssome sort of discourse function, interpersonal coordination function. The discoursemarker “jiu shi le”reflects the speaker on the adaptability of the context and theflexibility in the use o“f the coherent theory” and “the related theory”, it can not onlyhelp to build the discourse, to achieve the coherence of the text and the rhetoricaleffect, it can also achieve different pragmatic functions, such as coordination function,rhetoric function, etc. in order to facilitate communication.The essence of the meta-cognition is the self-awareness and self-regulation oftheir own cognitive activities, which includes the meta-cognitive knowledge, themeta-cognitive experience and the meta-cognitive monitoring. Meta-discourse is thespeech form of the Meta-cognitive, and discourse markers are a sort of the discoursecomponents of the meta-discourse, having some of the characteristics and functions of the meta-discourse, so the discourse marker “jiu shi le” is a formed experience ofthe meta-cognition, having closely relationship with the three parts of themeta-cognition. And with the driven of the meta-cognitive theory, we can dig theexisted motivations of the discourse marker “jiu shi le”, having a deep understandingof its impact on effectiveness.The discourse marker “jiu shi le” is a process of the dynamic, lasted evolution,meta-cognition. And with the driven of the meta-cognitive theory, we can dig theexisted motivations of the discourse marker“jiu shi le”, having a deep understandingof its impact on effectiveness.The discourse marker “jiu shi le” is a process of the dynamic, lasted evolution,whose generation mechanism can be traced back to the ancient times. Thepredecessor of “bian”and “jiu”was “ji” in the lasted evolution of “ji”,“bian” and “jiu”.In the alternative relationships of “bian shi”,“jiu shi” and “jiu shi le”, we pointed outthat “bian shi”was replaced by“jiu shi” in the modern spoken language, thendemonstrated that “jiu shi le”was formed on the basis of “jiu” and “shi le”. Finally,we believe that the discourse marker “jiu shi le” is the result of the vocabulary,grammar and pragmatics under the joint working.
