In this dissertation, I try to shed light on the relationship between Mongolian and Tibetan Buddhist historical works by conducting comparison study on the views on the creation of universe of these Tibetan and Mongolian Buddhist historical works. These Tibetan Buddhist works I used in my dissertation are Eshbaljuriin Buddhist history态Xira Tooji,Erdeniin Tobqi,Altan Hurdun Minggan Gegesutu,Bolor Toli. The Mongolian Buddhist works includes Chinese Mongolian Tibetan Brief history, Budun Choijing, Medegtehunii Belgedeye Giigulukq Neretu Shastar. This dissertation consist of five parts:in the introduction I present the related research background and the reason for conducting the research, its meaning, research method and purpose. In the first chapter, the historical context in which these Tibetan historical works were written and the values of these works are presented, the biographies of these authors are also provided. The main work I have done in this chapter is that I made an analysis on the views of these Tibetan works on the creation of the universe. In third chapter, a conclusion is made on the Buddhist views on the creation of the universe by making a comparison between the views hold by these Tibetan works, then a comparison between the views of other religion and the present scientific view on the creation of universe are also made to present the meaning and the purpose of the creation.
