New Exploration Of Ancient Chinese Academic Concepts

By system analyzing the there books, Liuxie’s Wen Xin Diao Long,Liu Zhiji’s Shi Tong, Zhang Xuecheng’s Wen Shi Tong Yi, this article is divided into five chaptersto discuss the changes and characteristics of the ancient China academic concept. Author thinks that the ancient academic concept is born in Chun Qiu period. Then it is firstly established in Wei Jin and southern period, and the most representative academicconcept is text as the core in Liu Xie’s Wen Xin Diao Long. It develops in the Tang dynasty, and the most representative academic concept is history as the core in Liu Zhiji’s Shi Tong. It is formed in the Qian Long and Jia Qing period, and the most representative academic concept is text and history as the core in Zhang Xuecheng’s Wen Shi Tong Yi. Through the analysis of the single text analyze and the overall study, this authorconcludes that from Wen Xin Diao Long, to Shi Tong, then to Wen Shi Tong Yi, the progress is development track of the gradually perfect ancient academic concept or thetheoretical system.
