New Century Family Drama Ideology Female Image Analysis

Family ethics dramas have played a surge in the number since the new century, which shaped many female images, attract a large number of women in the audience. Figures of the dramas art not only reflect reality, but also have the corresponding ideological meaning in accordance with its own symbolic system of signifier and signified. Shaping of the female images in the family ethics dramas is to follow this rule. Summarize and analyze the images of women of family ethics soaps in the new century. We can reveal the ideological connotations and mechanisms of family ethics play in the new century by four kinds of female images symbols. Then we can have a more profound understanding of the causes and significances of images of women in family ethics soaps. The main part of this article was discussed four chapters. On the basis of the first chapter, the second chapter puts forward the thesis that the family drama images of women is the ideological symbols. The third chapter is the demonstration to prove the thesis with space, language, behavior which are presented by the family drama images of women. The fourth chapter analyses the cause images of these women as the ideological symbols, with the theory of ideology inquiry calls, including internal and external factors.
