The Research On Korean Family Ethics Drama In China Since 21^st Century

In the 90 s of the 20 th century, along with the tide of “Korean wave”,Korean TV drama rapidly rise and successfully sweep China, Japan as well as southwest Asian countries. South Korea become a great culture country just because of Korean TV drama disseminate the country’s culture to all over the world. Until today,the love of funs of Korean TV drama is no sign of slowing down. Korean TV drama still take a big part of the introduction of China’s overseas drama. viewed from historical perspective, south Korea has as a vassal state of China, it’s words and system borrowed from China, this country once fell into the colony of Japan. So I want to ask,why the drama of a small country could create a great sensation in big countries.What’s the charm of Korean TV drama that make Chinese audiences so crazy? Facing the argument of “feedback of Confucianism” in academia, and the situation of China’s TV industry downturn, we should learn from Korean TV dramas, but what to learn,it is worth exploring.Due to the predecessor’s research of Korean family ethics drama concentrate on the90 s of 20 thcentury. In our paper,I will integrate predecessor’s achievement, the Korean family ethics drama which was introduced in 21 st century will serve as the main research object. This thesis include 2 aspects. One is the study of Korean family ethics drama itself. Second is finding the reason why Korean family ethics drama is so successful and popular in China. Therefore, this paper divide into 4 chapters. The introduction as an opening words to made a definition of what is “Korean family ethics drama”, then introduced this topic research’s present situation and significance. The first chapter from globalization, communication and a variety of similarities in culture between China and Korean to analyze background reasons of why China bring in Korean family ethics drama. The second chapter to reveal the charm of Korean family ethics drama through three aspects----culture, narrative arts and formal factors.The third chapter is about the generation of Korean family ethics drama, mainly from 3fields : the strategies for ”culture orientated national development” of south Korea,culture industry policy, and the operation of Korean dramas. The fourth chapter is about what enlightenment China’s TV industry could get from the success of Korean family ethics drama, this chapter is to solve the problem what to learn from Korean family ethics drama. facing the attacking of Korean drama,We should not take the "sour grapes" negative psychology, but should have the spirit of "borrowlism" to learn from it. China’s television industry should be based on own culture to product excellent TV works with Chinese characteristics which can be recognized and loved by the world’s majority audiences.
