This study from the question that the different researchers came to opposite conclusions of the same variable. The paper used questionnaires, behavioral experiments and scenario simulation and other research methods. It not only reasonably solved above disagreement, but also have reached a new experimental variables affecting the anchoring effect. To prove pervasive influence of this new variable——the clarity about direction in the anchoring effect, we selected a broad range of people as subjects, they are graduate, undergraduate and vocational colleges. This research’s discussion range concluded digital and non-digital background. Eventually we have the following conclusions:The first study:1) whether individual clear the adjustment direction or not affect their adjustment belief:people who don’t know the direction of adjustment form the anchor more prone to have an excessive adjustment belief, but people who clear the direction more prone to have an inadequate adjustment belief;2) When external motivation was gave, In comparison to the one group who don’t know the adjustment direction, the another group’s subjects tend to make more away from the inner anchor value judgment;3) When the adjustment direction is clear, the external motivational will encourage individuals to make further away from the outer anchor value estimates judgment, but if not, the effect of external motivational is not significant;4) People have a significant different clarities of adjustment direction between inner anchor and outer anchor:compared with the outer anchor, individuals feel more clear from the anchor.The second study:1) In the context of the non-numeric, the anchoring effect is still an important mechanism which impact on people’s language understanding and judgment.2) In interpersonal interaction, we often put own understanding of outside information as an inner anchor, to the outside world to understand the experience as anchor, the clarity of adjustment direction from the anchor value will significantly affect the understanding and adoption of another people’s opinions.Through this paper, we address the question:whether the external motivation significantly affect the anchoring effect or not. And we discover that the clarity of adjustment direction from the anchor is the decisive factor whether people making more away from anchor or not. During adjustment, external motivational only cause people to pay more attention and thinking to the anchor values. Moreover, it is the difference of the clarities of adjustment direction at two types anchors that cause their different reaction results, rather than the difference of psychological process caused by two type anchors. This led to our attention once again to the theory mechanism of the anchoring effect, revealed the drawbacks of dual-processing theory model, and tried to explore a new integration mechanisms. In addition, the second study revealed the self-understanding of the outside world and the process of adopting other people’s views in the non-numeric context of human interaction. Let people know about the role of anchoring effect in people’s daily communication. This not only help people better respond to outside information, but also avoid the emergence of unnecessary misunderstanding in our life.
