On Liu Zhenyun'novels Underlying Narrative

The narrative of the bottom has recently become a hot topic, many writers expressed his deep concern for the underlying.Liu Zhenyun, who started boarding into the literary world in the late1970’s, is one of them. With his literary ideal, he uses his pen to write the sorrow and joy of people who lived at the bottom of the society. Based on Liu Zhenyun’s underlying narrative, this paper discusses the unique value of Liu Zhenyun’s underlying narrative and shows his value of creation.This article contains three chapters, chapter1focuses on the uniqueness of Liu Zhenyun’s underlying narrative on theme connotation. Demonstrating hard life is a topic that a lot of writers will write when they want to describe the people at the bottom. However, Liu Zhenyun not only showed the suffering, but also revealed the root of the suffering-the extrusion of the power. The fight of power comes from the fight of survival data, and his display of suffering, his criticism of rights rose to a height. Besides, he not only cares about people’s material life, but also their spiritual world. He expresses the life consciousness that beyond class and culture through his works. He is in a higher place than the other writer on ideological conception. More importantly, Liu Zhenyun has been focused on the bottom at the beginning of his creation. With his pen, he wrote the developing, struggling history of the bottom and showed the people’s living circumstances under the development of the society. The second chapter, discusses Liu Zhenyun’s artistic expression, and analyze it from three aspects:the ugliness, the use of irony gimmick, twist, and vulgar language. The third chapter points out Liu Zhenyun’s creation value. His underlying narrative is beyond many contemporary writers, whether on depth or breadth, he provides a good frame of reference of the development of the bottom literature.At the same time, his creation inherits and developes the transform of the national character creation since the development of new literature. He still keeps the courage to face the reality in a time lack of spirit. In an era full of entertainment, he adheres to the interesting but not recreational writing, he insists on his own values.
