Huai hong opera, which is a kind of local one, is popular among SuQian. It originated from the ruralvillages which accompaniment form and style were mainly depend on the oral teaching and trueunderstanding of senior artists via word of mouth. This kind of opera is gradually disappearing due to therapid development of our society. In view of it, it becomes pretty urgent to investigate HuaiHong operaand its performing skills as well as its accompaniment style of wind instruments and form a certainprofessional materials. At the same time, subliming the former teaching method to a higher theory level.Studying its performing skills will not only do good to the descendants to know regular pattern, and offerthem the chances to realize HuaiHong opera which was called one of “Three teams of flowers ofJiangsu” then, but also provide theoretical thinking for it as intangible cultural heritage of JiangSu.
