On The Techniques And Styles Of Sheng 's Playing In Liu Zi' S

Liuzi Opera is developed based on the XianSuo style in Yuan and Ming dynasty, with long history and profound culture accumulation, integrating regional open and fine characteristics, considered as the unique regional opera in the development history of China opera. Sheng is the relatively classic instrument in China, with wide application in classic music in China. The playing of Sheng plays a significant role in Liuzi Opera with unique music characteristics and playing skills. Until now, the playing skills of Sheng in Liuzi Opera are based on the people broadcast one by one, affiliated to traditional heritage method, without serious theoretical framework and training system. However, currently the Liuzi Opera seems to be faded and out of date, which leads to limited researches on the playing skills and styles, even no research on this point.Therefore, the paper researched from Shandong Liuzi Opera, and analyzed the playing skills and style of Sheng in Liuzi Opera, in order to enhance the skills of Sheng by the instrument players and promote the performance of Liuzi Opera in further step, to contribute more to our classic operas.
