Handel Opera "Sai Sesi SERSE" Research

First of all, this article did the division of Handel’s opera. Because ofHandel’s opera do not has the clearly devision in time line.Only by a variety ofexternal factors in his later years, he just turned wrote opera to large numbers ofcantata after1742. He became famous by his opera which are most Opera seria, Buti did read documents about Handel and listen his opera,He was not just follow theNaples opera mode in most of his works. SERSE was written in late years which is1738, we can not just konw the talent about how Handel creat an opera,but also theidea about how to creat new work.From listen to the recording and read the literature through analysis it over andover again, i do not only know the backgroud in his times,but also did so many workjust contrary with SERSE. In the second chapter, i did focusing on details on theaterand music analysis about SERSE. Proceed to the characteristics of analysis theindividual role, then the association between the various theatrical elements, anddramatic conflict is the central point,the further discussion were tragicomic dramaticand the dramatic circumstances.Through the analysis,after analysis music part, theneach scene in a variety of genres,i did summed up tendencies conclusion that theopera was with a strong comic factor.The main content of the third chapter is basedon the analysis of the second chapter about the drama and music, by the extension ofthe opera’s comic factors. Analyzed the opera’s seria and comic factors in aconcentrated expression, and the reason how to wrote opera in his late works.The last part was expanded tseveral of his later opera which aremore prominent,in order to demonstrate the Handel’s late period,Whether he was influlenced byBeggar’s Opera,and how to do the revise in his works. The last part of this article attempt find out the shift in attitudes about the late Baroque opera, and how Handel’swork do the impact of the development of opera, and even the history of westernmusic.
