| The long standing and far reaching An Lushan Rebellion which been regarded as the turning point of Tang dynasty has been recorded in detail in the Chinese handed-down documents, While with the unearthed of stone tablets, especially epigraphs of people in the Tang dynasty since the end of the nineteenth century, more details of this historical events have been discovered.Compared with the handed-down documents which are more prone-to-error, the unearthed epigraphs show the more practical situation of history.Meanwhile, epigraphs are carrier of literature at the same time, the study of writers and creation activities under the special circumstance is of great research value either. Epigraphs that inscribed the An-shi overstepped reign title is a special type of the war-relevant stones and it has been remarkable eye-catching for over than100years since the late Qing dynasty.Research achievements on this field has been showed in the introductory paragraph and there is still space for the development, especially in literary accomplishment.On the basis of fully and accurately collection, this article aims at the study of the unearthed49epitaphs that inscribed the An-shi overstepped reign title. This article divides into four parts.In this text, we try to make use of this sort of stones to discriminate the records of the textual documents and also study the funeral ceremony of people that time, what we especially focus on is the expression of feelings and ideas through epigraphs in this peculiar period. The activity of famous literati like Li shiyu, Li hua and Zhao hua in their surrendering period would also be discussed and verified.
