The adverbs research is a very important part of Chinese Vocabulary research, in a sense, it is a fundamental linguistic theory problem that we want to explore.At the same time, the study of the history of Chinese grammar is inseparable from dating the study of the history of syntax, and grammar history dating can not do without books syntax, grammar study of the book is also inseparable from the book case study of the important linguistic phenomena. So far, however, there is not a scholar did exhaustive language research of Tsinghua Bamboo adverbs, nor a scholar did a comparative study between the adverbs of "Book of History" and the adverbs of Tsinghua Bamboo. Author make an exhaustive study and analysis about’Tsinghua Bamboo "adverbs in the nine unearthed literature, on its lexical meaning, grammatical meaning, grammatical function, grammatical features in order to make a detailed description, and make a preliminary comparative analysis between the Tsinghua Bamboo adverbs and"Book" adverbs. We want to add new valuable corpus to study of the history of ancient Chinese grammar adverbs.The article is structured into three parts.The first chapter is of Tsinghua Bamboo adverbs type analysis. In accordance with the virtual degree of the Tsinghua Bamboo adverbs, Tsinghua Bamboo adverbs are divided into nine categories, and the nine categories of adverbs were analyzed and summarized on its lexical meaning, grammatical meaning, the grammar function and characteristics in turn. Tsinghua Bamboo adverbs add up to71. And monosyllabic adverbs accounted for an absolute advantage, there are only three multi-syllabic adverbs, and are reduplicated adverbs. Tsinghua Bamboo adverbs mostly derived from verbs and adjectives, thus they always are category words; many Tsinghua Bamboo adverbs appear just for once, but they always be used as high-frequency adverbs in the subsequent literature. Apparently, Tsinghua Bamboo era is an important stage in the development of Chinese adverbs.The second chapter is the contrast of the Tsinghua Bamboo adverbs and the "Book" adverbs. Tsinghua Bamboo has a similar adverbs system with Jinwen Shangshu and Guwen Shangshu; meanly modal adverbs, adverbs of time, adverbs of degree, ranging adverbs, number adverbs, modal adverbs, negative adverbs, associated adverbs, adverb of paying tribute. Firstly, we make an overall analysis about the number, the frequency, the voice form, the defined characteristics, and then make a comparative analysis on each of the nine categories of adverbs, attempting to summarize the similarities and differences between the the Tsinghua Bamboo adverbs and Jinwen Shangshu and Guwen Shangshu adverbs in the usage.The third chapter is the cause analysis of Tsinghua Bamboo adverbs. Tsinghua Bamboo adverbs formation mechanism are grammaticalization and guise of homonyms. From the point of view of the number of Tsinghua Bamboo adverbs, grammaticalization is the main way. Papers on the formation mechanism of the source of this two adverbs to explore the causes of Tsinghua Bamboo adverbs.The paper mainly uses methods of the combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis, the combination of synchronic and diachronic research, the combination inductive and deductive study, the combination of description and explanation. In addition, the paper also use the chart method.
