| This task was aimed to investigate graphics-Chinese character priming effect features, using pre-mask priming paradigm before the Chinese character naming task. It can reveal that different images of a character would influence recognition of Chinese character. Experiments were used subliminal priming, hyper-threshold priming to prove picture-word priming.Experiment1:It was aimed to investigate graphics-Chinese character priming effect features in subliminal priming. Here we conducted3(grade:Grade3, Grade5, adults)×3(priming type:painting-graphics, word-graphics, control group),in subliminal priming (35ms) the pupil and the adults had significant different, the pupil had greater priming effect than the adults.Experiment2:It was aimed to investigate graphics-Chinese character priming effect features in terminate-threshold priming.The design was the same with Experiment1.It proved that the students would use some tactics. The priming effect of word-graphics was increased in5grade students.Experiment3:It was aimed to investigate graphics-Chinese character priming effect features in supra-threshold priming. The design was the same with Experiment1.The hyper-threshold priming(65ms)3th grade students had greater priming effect on picture-word priming, but the adults had greater word-word priming than adults threshold on the processing capacity tends to the adult level.The adults had strong intuitive as word graphics processing deeper and faster, It show that children’s image thinking is stronger than adults. The results show that:the pupils space visual imagery may be an effective way to improve Chinese character learning. |
