It has been contributing to inherit and develop the arts.However Observing the whole appearance of the landscape painting of contemporary China, the thesis of Easternâ€Taoâ€Westernâ€Tool is already hackneyed and therefore loses its expecting positive significance. This article searches for the origin of the thesis of Easternâ€Taoâ€Westernâ€Tool from the phylogeny of Chinese painting and briefly states the features of Easternâ€Taoâ€Westernâ€Tool of the landscape painting of contemporary China and therefrom analyses the pros and cons and explores the causes of so many corrupt practices with particular emphasis on the analysis of its cultural roots and find a solution for it. |
