Shouping Yun is a famous painter of the early Qing Dynasty, he is proficient in both landscape and flowers, he is the one of six of early Qing painting world. Shouping Yun is not only get fruits of creativity in painting, his painting’theory and poetry is also very profundity, in the treatment of tradition and innovation. He proposed that the ancients not only need to learn, but also need to learn about nature and the soul as home. Shouping Yun learning of the ancients, but in not bound by the ancients, he advocated a painting style of "nor ancient nor nowadays, get rid of pattern", also practice the proposition in painting creation.On the basis of the "Ou Xiang Guan Ji "," Nan Tian Hua Ba" and his painting works, I have made relevant research on Yun Shouping’s artistic achievement and experience. On the other hand, the understanding on the theory of painting together with his success in classic poetry has further strengthened his artistic spirit and feelings, both of which have been indispensable, interactional and complementary.
