3-6century is the late Han Wei and Jin Dynasties in Chinese history,it isthe most politically chaotic period, but it is also one of the most active periodof religious belief. With the introduction and development of Buddhism, it madea major impact on Taishan culture. Buddhism was introduced in Shandong Province,initially it utilized the reputation of Taishan and as a "ghost town" culturalbackground to promote itself development, which is the basic characteristics ofthe spread of Buddhist culture and development.Although the spread of Buddhismin the process at Taishan and the surrounding areas has occurred conflict withTaishan culture, but eventually Buddhist culture became a part of Taishan culture,enriching the Taishan culture.This paper is divided into six parts:Introduction section introduces the topic origin, Academic History, dataherein, research goals.The first chapter introduces the propagation of Buddhism in the Shandongarea.It can be divided into three stages:The first phase of the early Eastern Hanto the Western Jin Dynasty, is the beginning of the spread of Buddhism; the secondphase of the Sixteen States Eastern Jin Dynasty,is a period of aggressive expansionof Buddhism; the third stage of Southern and Northern Dynasties to Suichu, is thedevelopment of Buddhism in Shandong Province heyday.The second chapter describes Taishan belief in3-6century.At Wei and JinDynasties,the"Taishan Managing Ghosts" is prevailed, which at this time has adual function Taishan Lord Chan also master dead. After the emergence of TaishanFu Jun, Taishan God was gradually personified. Second, with Buddhism and Buddhistincoming translation, it borrowed Taishan spirits faith to make the concept ofBuddhism hell gradually become popular, the first translator of Buddhistscriptures borrowed "Tai Shan hell" concept to its foundation in the developmentof the local community.To the Northern and Southern Dynasties, the main Buddhisthell-Yama has a great trend of overwhelming Taishan Fu Jun. The third chapter describes the Buddhist temples、monks and carved by Cliffof Taishan and the surrounding area at this period.The appeared of Temples andcarved by Cliff in Taishan area is show that Buddhism has a direct impact on thedirect instructions of Taishan culture and Buddhist faith has penetrated into allsectors of society in Taishan region.The fourth chapter analysis the cause of Buddhism in this regional development,mainly from three aspects to analyse:social unrest has made the foundation forthe spread of Buddhism in Taishan region, local missionary monks and the rulerssupport to the monks.The fifth chapter is the impact of early Buddhist culture to future generationsTaishan. At first, Yama belief has a great develop in China and it promote theirstatus improved, in the Tang and Song Dynasties the position of "ten house of hell"has been on top of Mount Tai Wang. Secondly, Buddhist temple in the early Taishanregion or renew or waste, new temple continually emerging, Buddhist culturecontinue to integrate the faith of Taishan, finally become a part of Taishanculture.
