This part is mainly analyze the late Ming scholar ’s textual research about Meng Zi and his book,using Chan Shi-yuan "Mengzi Miscellanies" as an example, based on analyze the late Ming Dynasty Mencius textual research studies profiles.The fourth part is the paper’s concluding remarks, analyzing its historical impact with the late Ming Dynasty Mencius research status.By exploring and analyzing, we draw the following conclusions:Firstly, in the specific historical background of the late period Ming Dynasty, the late Ming Dynasty Mencius was showing three characteristics that are inheritance and revision for Neo-Confucianism and "Wang xue",the common development with the "the four books" research, the paralleling argumentation and textual research.Secondly, the theory of righteousness is still the mainstream in the late Ming Dynasty, the number of justice class studying Mencius works is more than textual research works. the research that is given priority to with Argumentation Studies of the late Ming Dynasty, under the influence of "wang xue" s most concerned about the theory of human nature, Mencius benevolent government theory, which have three characteristics that are mainly to Psychology for the case, paying close attention to the reality and free interpretation etc..Thirdly, the late Ming Mencius textual research gradually on the rise, the number of textual research works over the number in prophase and metaphase. the research that is given priority to with textual studies of the late Ming period Dynasty Mencius Study have three characteristics: involveing extensive contents, uesing rich means in textual research, textual research works mainly were compilation of data.Finally, the late period Ming Mencius research mainly has three aspects of the historical influence:the late Ming period Dynasty Mencius Study Breakthroughed the stiff Mencius research pattern under the influence of Neo-Confucianism;the Confucian ideology that appeared in Mencius Study made the studies on Mencius more focus on reality;a new force suddenly rises of the textual research prepared for the prevalence of Mencius textual research in Qing Dynasty.
