Since the reform and opening up, the dynamic history in the society has beencontradictory and intense development. Artists say the distorted mean development ofcontemporary art market in the past30years. In the nineteen eighties in China, theywitnessed the process of reform and opening up and the western art popularization ofcritical moment. At the same time, art finally to liberate people from the "CulturalRevolution" of the shackles, it is no longer regarded as mere political tool. It is in thiscontext of contemporary Chinese art emerge as the times require and developing at anamazing speed. As the situation develops, the artists began to explore new roads andsome young artists learn and imitate western painting one by one into their ownpainting. The objective is to create own new style. Although some artists get profitand reputation, but Western elements have been ingrained and it is difficult to get ridof.When China advocates strengthening cultural soft strength, the development ofChinese contemporary art is very fast. The development trend of commercialization ofart has gradually become the mainstream of society. And we are thinking how to getrid of the influence of Western painting. At the same time, we explore a Chinesecontemporary art which has the characteristics of localization of independentdevelopment and turn the "made in China" to "created in China" is the contemporaryartists to be explored and rational treatment.In this paper, it based on the comparison of Chinese and Western culture as areference of the development process and reflects the development present situationof Chinese contemporary art market in the west. It expounds some art market in thedevelopment of the issue and discusses such problems should take what kind ofmeasures. We should have the Chinese contemporary art market local originality toenhance the national cultural soft power and the development and prosperity of thehealthy and orderly operation.
