Keynote Content And Valuation Of Hegelian Philosophy Of History

The philosophy of history can be regarded as Hegel’s historical thoughts center. Both Chinese and foreign academic circles have different views on judgment about its value all the time. Some of them claimed that history is a kind of rational spirit which refers to a process of self-alienation and self-return in the time, thus they denounced his view as historical nihilism nonsense; while some of them denounced it as an absurdist work cut history because it denies that many accidental factors have played an important role in historical process; And some because of its emphasis on the guiding role of on "world historical figure" and its enthusiasm, will and personality in the development of history, to denounce it as a stubborn theory for promoting personal heroism. The others because of its protruding of the Germanic nationality as peak time in the development of human freedom consciousness, to denounce it as an arrogance of narrow nationalism, and so on. Actually, in our view, different from the subject of the history of science, Hegel’s philosophy of history originally is not a true, real "historical work" term, but a kind of effort to go through the unique perspective of philosophical to understand and to further "dominate" the history, since research orders in historical development contains laws, as a result, it has a certain instructive meaning in real world process. In addition, as a master of dialectics, Hegel’s thoughts should be dialectically treated by us, and as a systematic philosopher, Hegel’s philosophy is a heterogeneity system which also full of inherent tension, it is necessary for people to combine each idea with its opposing view to explore, so as to truly realize the penetrability of his ideas.To this end, this paper aims to through the deep interpretation of philosophy of history text, more completely and clearly grasp the basic content and its operational logic of Hegel’s historical philosophy views, and to further reveal the significance and importance of his philosophy of history thoughts in whole Hegel’s philosophy system, and based on the background of the system, to a painted a network which ideas relatively clear. Secondly, through reviewing the inherent clues of development of western historical philosophy, to compare Hegel’s philosophy of history thought with other historical philosophers’, to highlight Hegel’s historical philosophy as a kind of spot of the development of western philosophy of history, and then painted a relatively clear panorama of the development of the history of philosophy. Thirdly, through the comparison of historical materialism, to prove that Hegel’s philosophy of history has provided multiple-ideas support, thus to draw a diffraction pattern of the historical materialism inherits and transcends Hegel’s historical philosophy.
