《Narcissus and Goldmund》came in1930,This is the author the late alternatingperiods of important works,both Hesse early in art, creative features, the late threeperiods.Works has been subjected to different types of readers love and attention sincethe publication of the works.This is one of the most popular works of fiction Hesse.《Narcissus and Goldmund》creative approach based on the form of literary techniqueGermany Bildungsroman.The author not only with delicate writing to show us thatGoldmund toward the road of the "mother".And most importantly, the authorconcerned about the most noble of human spiritual realm.He seriously thought thatGoldmund suffered some mental crisis during the road of the mother.In this article, Iwill educate novel《Narcissus and Goldmund》into the field of educational research.Iwill interpret according to the philosophy of Romanticism.The introdution part of the paper include:the author’s life and some of hisimportant writings, the features of Education novel and specically the novel Narcissusand Goldmund, as well as the ouline of the story in the book.I depart from the text to take meticulous study method in the first part,anddivided Growth of the Goldmund into four stages.Narcissus enlightenment andawakening Goldmund——Spiritual enlightenment roaming——Be back, introspect——Dying, turn to Mother.I Presents to the reader focus on the spiritual growth processof Goldmund,and interpreted in accordance with the philosophy of Romanticism.The second part of the paper, the author analyzes the direction of education asthe "mother" role for Goldmund enlightenment, analyzed what is the mother of life?The third part of the paper,the author think Goldmund’s road of the mother on thebasis of the above study,and Focus think the conflict between reason of God andMother of the living as the two forces enlightenment.
