Analysis of easily confused words or thesaurus of the word has been the focal point of TCSOL. However, Many words that we believe are the emphasis of teaching are probably not the real major points for foreign students. Thus, situational approach will be a good way to solve these special problems.In this paper, I use the situational teaching method analysis ten groups of easily confused words, given a teaching strategies of the easily confused words, discussed practical issues of theory. The conclusion is:It is a good method to teach the easily confused words in a TCSOL, we should as much as possible to use the situational teaching strategies. Using the situational teaching method teaching confused words can achieve a multiplier effect. But we must pay attention to the context of the strategic approach when we teaches, using the appropriate strategic approach can ultimately achieve this effect.
