However, there is a lack of systematic and theoretical review and summarize on the study of Johnnie’s love movies so far.This paper aims to study of types of Johnnie’s love movies, and the performance of the his style, just different from the traditional researchers who have focused attention on Johnnie’s police bandit movie, or intolerance to arrange the change of the aesthetic type in Hong Kong gangster movies. Our purpose is to reveals the humanistic care and universal feelings of the director from the analysis of the film text, the theme connotation and characteristics of the film. We are also going to sum up the successful pattern of the films in art and the box office, expose and criticize the existing defects and shortcomings in the movie to give the other directors of certain enlightenment and finally provides a certain amount of prospect and theoretical support for the Chinese co-productions and Johnnie’s love movies in the future.
