The Research On Traditional Chinese Concept Of Happiness And The Modern Significance

Happiness,as the the ultimate goal,is being explored by human beings from ancient tomodern times.The concept of happiness is the basic view and cognition about happiness inthree systems which are view of world, outlook on life and sense of worth that has a crucialimpact on human beings’ sensation of happiness. The traditional Chinese culture is profoundwhich has various schools of thoughts who have their own understanding of the concept ofhappinessindifferent times andpositions.In this thesis,I try to manage and analyze the history and thoughts of the concept ofhappiness by using the development on happiness in different period as the verticalaxis,meanwhilethe thoughtsof different schools as the horizontal axisto explorethe meaningof Historical Evolution of the traditional Chineseconcept of happiness.Now we are in a critical period which need us to pay the efforts to build a socialistwell-off society in an all-round way that the Party and the country had made great efforts.Tostudy the traditional Chinese concept of happiness has an important reference for thecoordinated development of socialist material civilization, political civilization and spiritualcivilizationand ecologicalcivilization.
